Thanks to all the helpers who got the entire place ready for the sailing season – from the highest rooftop down to the docks on the beach. Now it’s time to enjoy fun on the water.

Post-Launch Day – Thank you
Thank you to those who helped with Launch Day. Huge progress was made in preparation for Saturday’s Open House. Lunch was awesome – thanks to Ken and his team.
‘New’ Furniture: A big thank you to Tony for donating the beautiful sofa and chairs, delivering them and getting a few helpers to help him cart off the old ones.
Water pump: Thank you John, Ken, Louis and especially Mike (who spent time in the cold river), for your expertise and doing a great job priming the pump. Then Ed discovered and quickly fixed the leak from a burst pipe.
Workshop / Sail Loft Roof Shingles: Thank you to Deb and Stefan for initiating and taking on the roof reshingle project.
Launch Day this Saturday, April 23
Let the season start! The forecast is for brilliant sunshine (ok, cool temps but heck, it’s April). Many hands make work light and that becomes evident when we see how quickly the (new!) docks get installed and the masts are raised. See you there!
Pre-Launch Day Number 2 – Saturday, April 16, 9am
Now that the boats are out of the clubhouse, during Pre-Launch Day #2 you’re welcome to help clean up the clubhouse after its winter hibernation. The warm stove will help make this task more comfortable. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions. Alas, I won’t be able to be there.
Pre-Launch Day Preparations – April 9th
Your Harbourmaster has set April 9th for some pre-launch day work.
For those of you interested in helping out with general Site-related tasks
(and I hope you’re out there) :-), please join us to check out the site after the winter, do some general clean-up, and plan for the Launch Day work on Saturday, April 23rd.
