When you join KSC, you gain access to an entire fleet of well-maintained dinghies and catamarans without the overhead of storage, maintenance, insurance, or towing.
- The Fleet: From Lasers and Bytes to family-friendly RS Quests and high-performance Hobie 18s. We own them, you sail them.
- The Community: We are a volunteer-run cooperative of sailors. It is easy to find a crew by posting on our Facebook group or joining our fun-first racing nights.

New to Sailing? Try It Out!
Not ready to commit to a full membership or a course? A Social Membership ($170.00) grants you full access to the clubhouse, BBQs, canoes, and kayaks. More importantly, it includes four sails as crew with one of our qualified skippers. It’s an excellent, low-commitment way to get out on the water, learn the ropes, and see if sailing is for you.
Membership Categories & Pricing
(Note: 13% HST applies to all fees)
- Family ($724.00): Covers two adults and any dependents living at home. A highly cost-effective way to get the whole family on the water.
- Single ($540.00): Full sailing privileges for one adult.
- Student & Young Adult [18-30] ($295.00): Get full access to the fleet and the club at a significantly reduced rate. Perfect for students and young professionals looking for an affordable summer activity.
- Social ($170.00): Full use of the decks, BBQs, canoes, and beach.

Bringing Your Own Boat or Kayak
Family, Single, and Student members are welcome to sail their own insured boats from KSC. If you prefer the convenience of leaving your equipment at the club, on-site storage is available (subject to availability) for an additional seasonal fee.
Please note that all privately owned boats and trailers kept on the premises must be registered with the club. Storage of private boats or equipment inside the clubhouse is strictly prohibited.
The Fine Print
Experienced Sailors: If you aren’t enrolling in a course, simply purchase a $80.00 Checkout to demonstrate your safe sailing skills.
Guest Policy: At the KSC we actively encourage our members to bring guests to our club, it’s the best type of advertisement! However, if a guest comes more than 4 times in a season then it is time for them to join as a member themselves. This policy also applies to social members who join as crew with other members.
