Boat and Trailer Storage is Live!
Hello KSC Members,
Boat and trailer storage is available for members (subject to availability) at the following rates: $110 per sailboat, $35 per canoe/kayak/sailboard, and $55 per trailer.
Opti Regatta – Saturday, September 20th
As the season is sadly winding down, we have one last regatta at KSC, our Opti regatta, this Saturday, 20th September. This is a fun mini regatta where adults get to rig, sail and race our Optimists. We have about 10 of the bathtub boats, and the long range weather is looking reasonable and fairly warm. So if you are game for some silly fun in an Opti, come on out to the club for noon. Price: Free. Bring your own food and drink.
KSC sailors at CAA National Regatta and Bart’s Bash
Four KSC Albacores are participating in the Canadian Albacore Association (CAA) Canadian National Regatta this weekend at the NSC. This regatta is being run as part of “Bart’s Bash” an attempt to create a Guinness World Record for the most sailors in a single sailing event.
12-Mile Island Race – June 28th
KSC’s annual 12-Mile Island race is scheduled for Saturday, June 28th. Registration starts at 10 AM. Check out the event page for more details!
Racing Clinic – Saturday, June 21st
Learn how to rule the race course! Join us on for a one-day racing clinic on Saturday, June 21st, starting at 9:30 AM! Since we’ve changed the format to make this a one-day clinic, the cost is now $65 (including HST). Contact our Training Director ([email protected]) for more information.
Free Rigging Clinic – Friday, June 20th
Haven’t sailed in a while and need a refresher on how to rig an Albacore or a Laser? Members can come by the club at 18:00 on Friday, June 20th for a FREE clinic that will get you back in the swing of things. If you haven’t renewed your membership yet, now is the time!
